Laminated glass is part of the family of safety glass which also includes bulletproof, tempered, layered, anti-intrusion, accident-prevention and shatterproof glass. Consisting of two or more layers of glass held together by special adhesive sheets of PVB (polyvinyl butyral), laminated safety glass allows for high standards of safety to be achieved in buildings used for residential, commercial or industrial purposes.

Creating by combining two or more layers of glass with a plastic sheet, usually in polyvinyl butyral (PVB), heated to 70°C and pressed with special rollers, laminated safety glass is a material that is particularly resistant to intrusion attempts and is extremely safe even in the case of breakage. In fact, thanks to the presence of the PVB film, the breakage remains localised at the point of impact, avoiding the dispersion of sharp shards. Depending upon the required level of protection, based upon the locations and their intended uses, it is possible to install:
