To improve the thermo-acoustic insulation of residential, professional, and commercial buildings, it is essential to install high-performance glass and frames. Windows are often the primary culprits for thermal energy loss; without proper treatment, they can drastically increase heating costs in winter and cooling expenses in summer.

Insulating Glass with Double or Triple Chambers

To enhance the thermal and acoustic comfort of your home or workspace, replacing standard windows with models offering low thermal transmittance is highly recommended. Vetreria Re, with over twenty years of expertise in industrial, artistic, structural, and safety glass, provides international clients with advanced double and triple-chamber insulating units.

For peak energy performance, we offer modern Low-E (low-emissivity) glass featuring magnetron coatings. This process involves applying a special film of metal oxides that boosts thermal insulation without compromising transparency or light transmission. This ensures high Luminous Transmission (TL) and Solar Factor (FS) values, leading to significant energy savings.

The Low-Emissivity Insulated Unit

Beyond magnetron coatings—which can nearly double the insulation capacity compared to standard glass—Vetreria Re offers single, double, and triple-chamber configurations. Low-E insulated glass acts as a unidirectional selective barrier, providing excellent insulation while allowing natural light to flood the interior.

To maximize silence and thermal stability, noble gases like Argon or Krypton can replace standard dry air within the chambers. These units are assembled by sealing two or more panes separated by an aluminum spacer profile of varying thicknesses. Inside these spacers, silica desiccant (an amorphous silicate) absorbs any residual moisture to prevent condensation. To achieve optimal transmittance values, we maintain a minimum distance of 16 mm between panes, ensuring a comfortable, high-finish environment.
