Vetreria Re had the pleasure of collaborating with Impatia on the realization of the “Lungolinea” ping pong table, a project that elevates the concept of leisure furniture to a true work of art. This collaboration highlights our profound competence in glass processing, essential for bringing to life a design object that combines playing performance and extraordinary aesthetic impact. The “Lungolinea” table, designed by Adriano Design, is an ambitious reinterpretation of the classic ping pong table, transformed into a luxury furniture piece thanks to the use of precious materials and high-precision manufacturing.
Vetreria Re and Impatia: Transparency Redefines the Game with the Lungolinea Table
Extra-Clear Glass Playing Surface
The heart of the table is its playing surface, made with low-iron extra-clear glass. This choice is not accidental: it guarantees impeccable transparency and perfect playability, while conferring surprising visual lightness to the table. Precision cutting and glass finishing are fundamental to ensuring a perfectly flat and resistant surface, up to Olympic standards.
The base and legs of the table are also made of glass, creating a “floating” effect that captures the gaze. This solution, which requires considerable skill in processing and assembly, makes the table a discreet design element with strong personality, capable of integrating harmoniously into modern and sophisticated environments.
Connection and Finishing Details
The connections between the glass elements and the polished metal components (such as chrome, black nickel, or 24k gold, depending on the edition) are made with the utmost care. The net, often in precious laser-cut Alcantara®, adds a further touch of refinement, completing the luxurious aesthetic of the table.
